About Sunlit Sundries
Sunlit Sundries is a vintage home shop founded by two friends — Laura in Charlotte and Becca in Boone — brought together by a love for secondhand treasures, cozy spaces, and sustainable living. What started as a friendship in the garden center at Lowe’s has grown into a shared passion project, blending storytelling and vintage home style.

Laura Yacoubian
Laura is the heart and hustle behind Sunlit Sundries, running things from Charlotte, NC. Her love for secondhand started back in middle school, when she began decorating her family’s home with thrifted art, bold wall colors, and buying an abundance of oversized grandpa sweaters—all sourced from local thrift stores after school.
These days, not much has changed—she's still chasing the treasure hunt high. Whether she’s squeezing in a lunchtime thrift break during her 9–5, in a new town, or styling a new booth setup, she’s always on the lookout for interesting, beautiful things with a story.
Laura is obsessed with creating warm, inviting spaces filled with character and charm. Her passion for vintage goes beyond aesthetics—it’s about honoring the past, embracing intentional clutter, and learning from the design quirks of decades gone by.
She’s the one curating our collections, sourcing the treasures, managing the pop-ups, and dreaming up the visuals that you see from Sunlit Sundries.

Becca Nenow
Becca is based in the mountains of Boone, NC, where she grew up exploring the woods and still feels most at home outside. She brings a love of sustainability, circular design, and slow living to everything she does—especially when it comes to fashion, interiors, and community.
In 2020, she founded Resupply, Boone’s first refillery for low-waste, sustainable products, blending her passion for mindful living with her entrepreneurial spirit. With a background in visual art, psychology, and wilderness guiding, she’s always been someone who connects dots and builds thoughtful systems.
At Sunlit Sundries, Becca is the behind-the-scenes support system—handling the business brainwork, big-picture logistics, and sharing her wisdom from past ventures. While she’s not as involved in the day-to-day, her heart is very much in it. She keeps us grounded in our mission to reuse, repurpose, and make beautiful things last.
When she’s not helping run businesses or championing sustainability in Boone, you’ll find her hiking, snowboarding, painting, or wandering the woods with her dog.
